Uk & Iran : Business Visa
BICC is able to support the visa applications for UK business people travelling to Iran and Iranian business people travelling to the UK.
Assistance in obtaining Visa for Iran
At this difficult time where there is no Iranian Government representation in the UK, BICC can assist Members, and others involved in business between the UK and Iran, by helping to process visa applications through our sister chamber IBCCIM in Tehran.
The process is as follows:
1: The Visa Questionnaire Form below should be completed.
2: The Visa Applications should be completed and submitted together with Questionnaire, full copy of your passport, and all supporting documentations, excluding letter of invitation, to us at BICC.
3: We will send your documents to IBCCIM and they present your application supported by their Invitation Letter to the Visa Section of the Foreign Ministry.
4: A letter of Valid Visa will be issued and then you are able obtain your visa at time of entry to Iran at Tehran Airport.
5: Please note: Normally, two-four weeks should be allowed for the invitation to be obtained. However, as I am sure you would appreciate because of the recent issues this may take much longer.
There is a charge £150.00 + VAT (members) and £220.00 + Vat (non-members) for our services and Visa Fees should be paid on top and independent of our service charges.
Please note that there will still be a 50% charge for our services if the application is unsuccessful.
Applying for a UK Visa
The visa application can be made on-line or at a UK Visa Application Centre. Following submission of the application and all documentation, an interview will be arranged. For Iranian applicants these most often occur in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Istanbul or Ankara.
One of the documents required is an invitation letter from a UK person or a letter of support for the application. BICC is an acceptable party to give these letters and will normally do so for names of the members of our counterpart chamber in Tehran (IBCCIM)
